The Vitamin Value of Sunshine

Did you know that today is National Lemonade Day? In honor of this, I thought that today would be a great day to discuss Citrus and Sunshine!

Citrus and Sunshine

Vitamin deficiencies can affect you mentally and physically, so today I encourage everyone to ensure their basic needs are being met.

Vitamin D, readily available in sunshine, is vital for you to be able to absorb and process most of the other nutrients that your body needs.

A Vitamin D deficiency can also lead to depression.

So… Go outside and dig your toes into the earth, or open a window and get some fresh air if work is bogging you down.

Drink a fresh glass of lemonade or share slices of fruit with a loved one.

Diffuse some citrus essential oils or spray my Liquid Sunshine Mist around the house to uplift your spirits.

A few of the Citrus Essential Oils, Essential Oil Blends, and Liquid Sunshine Spray that are available in the shop.

Sunshine Safety

The warm feeling of the sun on your skin in summer may feel hot and sweaty more than anything else, but you still need those rays.

Just remember to apply sun protection before going outdoors for long periods of time.

It’s also important to moisturize or refresh your skin after coming back inside, especially if you got a little too much sun.

Overdoing sunshine isn’t healthy either.  A short 10 – 20 minutes of sunshine can really change your day!

Most of all, remember to

BREATHE ~ In & Out with the flow of the universe ~

In these chaotic times. Your Tribe is here to support you!

What is your favorite flavor of lemonade? Share pictures of you raising a glass to sunshine in the Tribe Facebook Group!

Many Blessings!
