My Immune Boosting Routine

I have received many questions regarding how to boost your immune system. This is my advice and what we are doing in my home. 😷🤧🤒

Maintaining a Healthy Immune System

💜 Wash your hands constantly.

💜 Be aware of the surfaces that people touch with unclean hands. Door knobs, sink handles, light switches, the toilet lid and flushing handle, refrigerator handles, all of your medicine bottles, grocery carts, cell phones, keyboards, tv remotes, your eye glasses and sun glasses, drawers and cabinet pulls, steering wheel and radio in your car. Consider using soap and water, bleach wipes, or vinegar spray to wipe them down… especially if people are sick in your home.  *NOTE Vinegar Spray on its own is not known to kill Covid-19.

💜 Change out towels regularly. You may be touching them before washing your hands and dampness breeds bacteria. Change linens and wash robes / jackets… especially if you have been using your elbow to cough and were wearing them!

💜 If someone has been sick… put their toothbrush in the dishwasher or replace it.

💜 Immune boosting herbs that also help respiratory are Astragalus Root (long term) OR Echinacea (short term), Oregon Grape Root OR Goldenseal, Osha Root, Nettles, Olive Leaf, Oregano Oil Caps, Turmeric, Fire Cider (mine has Astragalus in it), Elderberry Syrup (if we have respiratory symptoms), Herbal Cough Syrup if it is needed, and Breathe Free Tincture (if any respiratory symptoms). There are many others. These are the ones that we take in my home. If it is purple, I do sell it in the shop… even if there is no link.

💜 We also take Vitamin D, Vitamin C, L-Lysine, and Melatonin.

💜 We eat foods with lots of yummy. spicy goodness. Things that include.. garlic, curry, onions, ginger, turmeric, thyme, rosemary.

💜 I use essential oils, as needed for example in my Disinfectant Deodorizer Spray, Thieves Oil Hand Sanitizer, or my Breathe Free Blend by adding a few drops in the shower.

💜 We Smudge (sage, cedar, and sweet grass) our home regularly. There is a lot of debate over whether or not this actually kills germs… but it definitely clears the energy and helps our mental / emotional / spiritual health.

💜 Meditate, get sleep, take naps… make sure that your body is well rested and not stressed out. Do whatever you can to relieve extra stresses whether they are physical, mental, or emotional.

💜 We wear masks when we go out of the house now. *Added post Covid-19.

💜 We DO NOT wear gloves when we are out. When you wear gloves you are touching things without thinking about what you touch and then you are touching your wallet, your phone, car keys, etc… and spreading those germs everywhere.  Just be aware of what you touch and use hand sanitizer (like my Thieves Blend) if you cannot wash your hands right away.
