Blessings of Yuletide to everyone!
The days are getting shorter and shorter as the Winter Solstice approaches. We are drawn not only inside of our homes, but also deeper inside of ourselves at this time. Yule is a time of reflection upon what has passed and what is yet to come. A time to look at our shadow sides, recreate our strong foundation, and plant the seeds that we will nourish as the Sun is Reborn on Winter Solstice and grows stronger every day!
The list of herbs and oils that are associated with Yule is very long. They are things that will warm our souls, remind us of the warmth of the sun, and also scents of baking and a walk in the woods. Traditions that have been passed from family to family make these lists grow. I’d love to hear of more ideas from your family traditions!

Resins and Herbs Associated with Yule
My favorite way to use of these herbs is to simmer them on the stove to get in the holiday spirit. You can find out all about that in my YouTube Video – How to get in the Holiday Spirit 2020. I’ll post it here for you! What are your favorite ways to use these herbs?

Pure Frankincense and Myrrh Resin are very awakening and enlightening.
If you love the scent of a real tree, but do not have one… try 2 drops of Juniper, 1 Spruce, 1 Pine, and 1 Cedarwood in your diffuser.
You can also try my pure essential oil blend called a Walk in the Woods. I think it is just amazing. Yes, it will remind you of Yule and Winter Solstice, but it will also help you to come back to balance and be very grounded and in the moment.
