Essential Oils for Pain and Muscle Tension

Essential Oils for Pain and Muscle Tension

This wonderful Pure Essential Oil Blend will relax your muscles, stop muscle spasms, and reduce your pain. Analgesic Pain Blend is hand crafted in small batches with intention and love. I created this blend to help my MS, Fibromyalgia, and Lyme Disease massage therapy clients to handle their day to day pain. I also use it on many of my clients for general muscle tightness and nerve pain issues. The results are amazing!

What is the Pain Cycle?

When one experiences pain from a chronic condition or from an injury, they tend to move less and to guard or protect the small movements that they do make. Moving less, or with more caution, leads to restricted range of motion in the area that they are guarding. As they become more and more restricted and are not able to move the muscles involved, their muscles become tighter, tenser and begin to atrophy. This weakened state leads to decreased function, psychological stress, and even depression. All of this leads to even more pain and mental stress.  This cycle continues, building on itself constantly and increasing the pain. This is where the saying, “Move it or Lose it,” comes from.

How to Break the Pain Cycle

There are several points at which the pain cycle can be broken. The goal of this essential oil blend is to break that pain cycle just long enough that it allows the person to begin moving again.  Once you can begin to move with less restriction, you can start to stretch and build your muscles back up. Slowly conditioning our muscles and strengthening them leads to decreased pain. Being able to move is freeing and starts to relieve the mental stress as well.  Increased exercise releases endorphins that help us to feel better about moving. Being able to relax allows us to be happier, leading to hope, and we can focus on things other than the pain. We are then able to stay more relaxed, move more freely, and build up our muscle strength, which leads to less pain.

  1. Hi Dawna, I am treating for Lyme disease for 6 1/2 months now, I am currently very ill. I am wondering if you have any knowledge to share with me.

    1. Hi Sandra,
I highly suggest doing some google research for “Lyme protocols Stephen Buhner”. His Lyme protocols are well researched. I know people that have had great results following them. I do carry many of the herbs that are used in the protocol and the extra ones for helping with specific issues and co-infections. They are the newer herbs that I was intending to tincture and put out a whole Lyme product line with… but they are also almost all great antivirals… so I just listed them now. I have a few more to still add. I hope that this helps you some. You do not have to buy the book to get his information. Most of it is free online. If you use the google search that I put above, you should be able to find it. Many Blessings to you! <3
