Herbs & Oils For Beltane

Beltane Herbs and Oils

Beltane, also known as the May Day, is typically celebrated on, or around, the 1st of May.  It is the celebration of Spring, fertility, growth, and gathering with the community after a long winter. Many communities gather to dance the May Pole together and to bless the land for the coming growth season.  Some also use this as a time for divination of the light half of the year.

My Beltane Incense and Anointing Oil are created with the intention of the Celebration of Spring! Welcoming fertility & growth! Community spirit, happiness, and of giving energy to things that are yet to come.

Herbs that are commonly associated with Beltane are:

All Spring Flowers, Butcher’s Broom, Chamomile Flowers, Coltsfoot Leaf, Damiana Leaf, Dandelion Root and Flowers, Dragon’s Blood, Frankincense Tears, Jasmine Flowers, Lavender, Lobelia Herb, Mugwort, Nettle Leaf, Red Clover Blossoms, Rose Buds, Rosemary Leaf, and Wormwood

Oils that are commonly associated with Beltane are:

Chamomile, Frankincense, Jasmine, Lavender, Rose Attar, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Ylang ylang and most other floral scents

As always, there are many other associations as they vary path to path. These are the ones that I am drawn to work with.  I hope that they help to lead you to find the ones that work best for you.

Sending you Many Blessings, as you walk upon your path.
